Resavoir - Future (Knox Fortune Remix)

Resavoir highlight the twilight of Summer '24 with this bittersweet banger by friend of the band Kevin Rhomberg.

Rhomberg – better known by his producer name Knox Fortune – delivers a remix of "Future" from Resavoir's second self-titled album Resavoir, underpinning the tune's soulful sax lead (performed by Irvin Pierce) with a high tempo house rhythm that's proper for the city that all the above call home, Chicago.

Knox Fortune has been a comrade and collaborator of Resavoir bandleader Will Miller since atleast 2017. Prior to then and aside from mutual friends, both had done guest spots with Chance the Rapper when Knox invited Miller to add horns to his debut album Paradise (as well as the 2020 followup Stock Child Wonder). Miller in turn had Knox do some drum programming on Resavoir's 2019 self-titled debut album Resavoir. The two stay close to the day, not only sharing remix work but also sharing the occasional dip in Lake Michigan.
